Do you have a showroom?

We do not have a dedicated showroom at our premises, however, if you would like to visit the factory and have a look at some of the products we are manufacturing, you are welcome to do so. Please arrange a visit by contacting sales@mpm-eng.co.uk. DO NOT arrive without a prior booking.

Do you send out samples?

We can supply small samples of the materials we use to manufacture our worktops with the different finishes we offer. These can be ordered by completing the link on the home page.  If you would like a sample of the finished worktop, including the core material, please note there is a charge for this. Contact sales@mpm-eng.co.uk for more information.

What is a template?

A template is an exact replica of the required worktop. Taking all accurate measurements of the kitchen units and cut out positions for hobs and sinks, all the shaping and overhang required. This is then used to manufacture the worktops ensuring precise and accurate cutting for a perfect work surface installation.

Beware of some companies who claim they do not need to template before fitting, and cut on site using mobile equipment on the installation day.

Our manufacturing is carried out on the latest precision machinery in our dedicated and bespoke manufacturing facility, ensuring a perfect fit and a superior finish.

What must I have on-site when you arrive to do the templating survey?

Before the survey, please ensure all cabinets are level, have sufficient braces and are secured firmly to the wall. Make sure you know the final location of sinks, hobs, taps or any other fittings required and have these available on site. Please ensure after the survey, cabinets are not moved as the measurements taken during the survey are crucial for a perfect worktop installation. Any changes after the survey can cause significant delays and incur extra charges.

I am just replacing my existing worktops, do they have to be removed before you template?

Yes, we would recommend for a more accurate finish that you have your existing worktops removed before we come to template.

Please note, when we return to install the new worktops, the existing worktops need to be removed. Sinks, taps, hobs and electrical sockets should all be disconnected before we arrive to fit.

Can we plaster the walls after you have templated?

No, this needs to be done before templating. Tiling should be done after the worktops have been installed.

Do I need to be there when you template and install?

Yes, you need to be on-site to confirm cut out positions, overhang and joint positions, also to answer any questions we might have and to sign off the templates. The same goes for fitting, so that you can confirm that you are happy with the finished product.

How long from the templating will it take to fit my worktops?

We normally deliver and fit worktops within 20 days (this can increase during busy periods) after the survey.

How can I get a quote?
